Dallas Arboretum – Field Day for Master Gardeners

Saturday, November 7^th

Leave the Extension:                      6:30 am

Arrive at Dallas Arboretum:          10:30 am

Leave Dallas Arboretum:               3:30 pm

Arrive at Extension:                       7:30 pm

COST:  $30.00 - includes transportation and a morning snack

Payment must be made Oct. 7, Oct. 13 or 20 during class, or

Oct. 15 during the Learning Lab.

Admission to the garden for Master Gardeners and one guest will be complimentary when you present your Master Gardener badge.  American Horticultural Society members also get complimentary admission with an AHS card.

Find out what other Master Gardener organizations are doing when you visit their display tables.  During your visit you won’t want to miss a trip through the award winning trial gardens. The three gardens include trials on container plants, shade plants, All American Selections and much more.

Water, a breakfast bar, and fruit will be provided on the bus for the trip to Dallas. Lunch is on your own and available at two restaurants at the Arboretum for approximately $10 to $15.  The menu includes salads, sandwiches, soup, and casseroles. A Harvest Tea is offered with reservations for $35.00 (call 214.515.6610).
